Baltimore Ravens:

A Hall of Fame career for cornerback Deion Sanders has come to a close. Sanders has played two years with the Ravens and he announced this week that he will retire from the NFL. Sanders has played 14 years in the NFL and it is believed that he will return to the broadcasting booth next season.

Cincinnati Bengals:

The Bengals have signed CFL star Rashad Jeanty to a two year contract. Jeanty has played in the CFL for the past three seasons. Jeanty played defensive end for the Edmonton Eskimos, but he will switch to the linebacker position in the NFL.

Head coach Marvin Lewis signed a two year contract extension to stay with the Bengals until the 2010 season. Lewis will average about $3.2 million per season and all his assistant coaches have been signed through the 2007 season.

Cleveland Browns:

Wide receiver Antonio Bryant isn't likely to return to the team for the 2006 season. Bryant is scheduled to become an unrestricted free agent on March 3. Bryant led the Browns in 2005 with 69 catches for 1009 yards and four touchdowns.

Pittsburgh Steelers:

Free safety Chris Hope wants to stay with the Steelers. Hope and his agent Bralyn Bennett expressed their desire to stay with the Steelers earlier this week, but the Steelers don't have much cap room and need to invest in wide receiver Antwaan Randle El and starting cornerback Deshea Townsend is also a free agent.
